Qualifications

• Experience in electrical building services and preconstruction environments.
• Proven track record as a Technical Services/MEP/Preconstruction Manager.
• Strong knowledge of power, lighting, life-safety and infrastructure systems.
• Experience reviewing contractor submissions and proposals.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical technical development of MEP packages during preconstruction.
• Review electrical designs, specifications and employer's requirements.
• Assess LV infrastructure, power distribution, lighting and emergency lighting.
• Review fire alarms, security, access control, data and life-safety systems.
• Identify technical and commercial risks before contract award.
• Support subcontractor selection, technical interviews and tender reviews.
• Coordinate design development with consultants and contractors.
• Challenge designs to improve compliance, buildability and value.
• Support surveys, technical workshops and client meetings.
• Produce comprehensive technical handovers for operational teams.
