Mandala Group is recruiting an MEP Pre Construction Manager to lead the pre-construction phase for complex building services projects in the UK. The role emphasizes electrical bias and managing electrical packages within wider MEP scopes, coordinating with clients, design teams and procurement to ensure readiness for delivery.

The successful candidate will work directly with senior leadership, shaping pre construction processes, strategies and the overall approach to early project engagement.

Qualifications

• Electrical/building services background with experience leading projects through pre construction phase.
• Commercial awareness and ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, decorators, and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the MEP pre construction and PCSA process from concept through to project handover.
• Coordinate electrical and wider building services design development.
• Manage estimating, commercial and procurement activities.
• Develop procurement strategies and manage early package procurement.
• Drive value engineering and buildability reviews.
• Manage project budgets, programmes, risks and opportunities.
• Build relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and supply chain partners.
• Support bid strategy and early contractor involvement.
• Present project updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Ensure projects are fully coordinated before mobilisation.
• Continuously improve pre construction processes across the business.
