Blueprint Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a permanent role in the South West, delivering commercial leadership on a major Building Services and infrastructure project. You will manage payments, variations and final accounts, and work with operational teams to drive financial performance.

The ideal candidate has NEC contract experience, a relevant degree, and a background with reputable contractors. MEP/E&M exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor.
• NEC3/NEC4 knowledge; JCT knowledge beneficial.
• Experience with change and subcontract management.
• Degree, HNC or equivalent in relevant discipline.
• Strong commercial awareness and communication skills.
• MEP / M&E experience would be highly advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Manage commercial and contractual requirements throughout project delivery.
• Identify and manage project risks, opportunities and change.
• Prepare and submit applications for payment.
• Manage compensation events and variations.
• Support subcontract accounts through to final settlement.
• Maintain accurate records to protect contractual entitlements.
• Monitor progress alongside operational teams.
• Produce accurate commercial reports and project documentation.
• Support negotiations through to final account.
• Ensure work is carried out in line with contractual and company requirements.
