Kingston Barnes Construction in Bristol is recruiting an experienced MEP Manager to join a leading Tier 1 main contractor delivering a major, technically complex defence and advanced manufacturing project. You will coordinate mechanical, electrical and plumbing services, manage specialist subcontractors and ensure safe, on-schedule delivery within the project programme.

The role demands strong leadership, close collaboration with design teams and a proactive approach to quality and safety.

Qualifikationen

• Experience managing substantial MEP packages on major construction projects.
• Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical building services.
• Experience coordinating multiple specialist subcontractors and managing complex programme interfaces.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive approach to programme management, quality and health and safety.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate and manage mechanical, electrical and plumbing installations across the project.
• Oversee specialist MEP subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification.
• Review technical information with design teams, resolve coordination issues and identify buildability improvements.
• Manage MEP procurement, installation sequencing and interfaces with structural and architectural works.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement solutions to maintain delivery.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, validation and handover of building services installations.
