Job Opportunity: MEP Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced MEP Manager on behalf of a leading Principal Contractor with an established reputation for quality and service. The company specializes in Commercial Office, Hotels, and High-End Residential projects across London and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

1. Contribute to project reports, highlighting key issues, progress, required information, and outstanding technical submittals.
2. Manage the M&E drawing production process, assign lead contractors, oversee sign-off procedures, and secure consultant approvals.
3. Chair and document weekly meetings with services trade contractors.
4. Review and comment on trade contractor submissions, including technical submittals, RFIs, procurement schedules, and project timelines.
5. Coordinate with consultants for sign-off of technical submittals.
6. Liaise with statutory authorities and track related works.
7. Monitor the installation of services regarding progress, quality, and compliance with drawings and specifications.
8. Keep the financial manager informed of potential changes impacting costs.
9. Participate in trade contractor meetings and issue weekly technical status reports.
10. Schedule and oversee commissioning processes, ensuring sign-off by consultants.
11. Manage snagging of services installations and track clearance and sign-off from consultants.
12. Arrange statutory inspections and witnessing sign-offs.
13. Oversee client training processes and obtain necessary sign-offs.
14. Review O&M manuals and record drawings before submission for approval.
15. Identify and resolve remaining technical and commissioning issues.
16. Address any defects identified during project execution.
17. Provide performance feedback on trade contractors.
