Job summary

Fawkes & Reece is seeking an experienced MEP Lead to coordinate and deliver MEP services on a major project in Hertfordshire. You will oversee MEP subcontractors, coordinate design and installation activities, and ensure interfaces are aligned with the construction programme.

The role requires strong experience in mechanical, electrical and public health services, with capability to lead design coordination and technical meetings.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating MEP services on major construction projects.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and design information.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing MEP subcontractors and specialist contractors.
• CSCS and SMSTS certification would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery and coordination of MEP services across the project.
• Manage MEP subcontractors and specialist contractors.
• Coordinate design information, drawings and technical submissions.
• Ensure MEP works align with the construction programme.
• Lead technical coordination meetings and manage interfaces.
• Respond to RFIs and design development requirements.
• Monitor MEP progress, quality and compliance.
