Job summary

Tozer Associates in North Wales is seeking a senior MEP Design Engineer to lead the MEP design process on high-value projects and mentor a team of engineers. You will shape delivery across long-term schemes with major clients in North Wales.

You'll lead from the front, coordinating mechanical, electrical and public health design with other packages, ensuring buildability, value and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years experience in building services design.
• Strong commercial awareness and value-delivery mindset.
• Desire to mentor junior engineers.

• Coordinate mechanical, electrical and public health design information with architectural, structural and specialist subcontractor design packages.
• Review drawings, specifications, technical submissions, calculations and design proposals to ensure accuracy, compliance, buildability and value.
• Provide strong leadership, mentoring and guidance to design team members, consultants and wider project teams.

What you ll need

• At least 10 years experience in building services design, so you re confident in creating MEP systems that work in the real world
• Strong commercial awareness, allowing you to balance performance with cost and deliver value to clients
• A desire to mentor others, as you ll be helping junior engineers develop their skills
