Job summary

Tozer Associates is seeking a senior MEP design leader in North Wales to drive the MEP design process across multiple projects valued up to £15 million. You will mentor a team of engineers and coordinate with architectural and structural packages to deliver value and buildable solutions.

You’ll lead from the front, shaping design strategy and mentoring junior engineers, with a focus on collaboration and delivering high-quality outcomes for major clients.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years’ experience in building services design.
• Strong commercial awareness balancing performance with cost.
• Desire to mentor junior engineers and develop skills.

• Lead and manage the MEP design process across multiple projects ranging between £2 - 15 million,
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical and public health design information with architectural, structural and specialist subcontractor design packages.
• Review drawings, specifications, technical submissions, calculations and design proposals to ensure accuracy, compliance, buildability and value.
• Provide strong leadership, mentoring and guidance to design team members, consultants and wider project teams.

What you’ll need

• At least 10 years’ experience in building services design, so you’re confident in creating MEP systems that work in the real world
• Strong commercial awareness, allowing you to balance performance with cost and deliver value to clients
• A desire to mentor others, as you’ll be helping junior engineers develop their skills
