Job summary

Criterion Capital seeks an experienced MEP Design Manager to oversee MEP design for multiple office-to-hotel conversions and residential projects, ensuring integrated, energy-efficient systems that meet regulatory requirements.

You will lead design teams, coordinate with architects and engineers, manage budgets, and uphold quality across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection to deliver cost-effective solutions aligned with project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or building services engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in consultancy/design management roles within main contract or developer businesses.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full MEP design process for multiple office-to-hotel conversion projects.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other design professionals for full integration.
• Provide technical leadership for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Manage external MEP design teams and ensure clear communication with project goals.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and construction teams; provide regular updates.
