Job summary

Criterion Capital is seeking a Design Manager to lead the design phase of office-to-hotel conversion projects. You will oversee the end-to-end design process, ensuring solutions meet client expectations, project goals, and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with project management, coordinate with consultants and contractors, and guide design reviews to achieve approvals. You will champion sustainability and cost-conscious design while aligning with budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' industry experience in consultancy, architecture or design management.
• Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field.
• Ability to lead design teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit or SketchUp; familiarity with project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for office-to-hotel conversion projects, ensuring designs meet functional, aesthetic, and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with the project management team to align designs with scope, budget, and schedule.
• Challenge conventional design approaches to deliver creative and practical solutions for hotel conversions.
• Manage external consultants and contractors to ensure alignment with project goals.
