Job summary

Criterion Capital is seeking a Design Manager to lead the design phase of office-to-hotel conversion projects. You will manage the design process, ensuring client expectations, project goals, and regulatory requirements are met.

Responsibilities include leading design teams, coordinating with project managers, and overseeing consultants to deliver innovative, cost-efficient and buildable designs on time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ industry experience in consultancy, architecture or design management roles
• Experience managing design teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders
• Experience on projects in hospitality, commercial-to-residential conversions or related fields

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for office-to-hotel conversions, ensuring functional, aesthetic and technical requirements are met
• Oversee external consultants and contractors to align with project goals, scope and budget
• Collaborate with project management to ensure designs meet schedule and regulatory requirements
• Facilitate design reviews with stakeholders and coordinate design documentation for approvals
