Job summary

DeverellSmith Group is seeking an experienced MEP Design Manager to lead the MEP design on a major London residential development. You will take ownership from Stage 3 design and coordinate MEP consultants to integrate services with architectural and structural packages.

The role offers involvement across design management, Gateway applications, and technical approvals, with collaborative work across the technical and design teams as the project progresses into construction.

Responsibilities

• Leading the MEP design process from Stage 3 onwards
• Managing MEP consultants and specialist design teams
• Coordinating services design with architectural and structural packages
• Reviewing design information and ensuring it meets project requirements
• Supporting Gateway applications and technical approvals
• Working closely with the wider Technical and Design Management teams
• Identifying design issues and driving them through to resolution
• Supporting the project through detailed design and into construction

Job description

MEP Design Manager London | 60,000 - 85,000 I'm recruiting for an MEP Design Manager to join a growing technical team working on a major new residential development in London. The project is moving into Stage 3 design early next year, so this is a chance to join at a fairly early point and take ownership of the MEP design as the scheme develops. You'll work across the residential elements of the development, coordinating the MEP consultants and ensuring the services design is properly integrated with the wider architectural and structural design.
