Job summary

Advance TRS in Birmingham seeks a Head of MEP to lead the delivery of systems for a major rail facility. You will own design development through procurement, construction, commissioning and handover, overseeing the MEP team and specialist supply chain.

The role requires coordinating with clients, designers and project leadership to ensure integrated, operable systems and a facility ready for long-term operation.

Qualifications

• Senior delivery and leadership role requiring ownership from design through handover.
• Experience leading MEP on major infrastructure or technically demanding construction schemes.

Responsibilities

• Setting the MEP delivery strategy across the depot buildings and control centre.
• Leading design reviews, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Managing specialist contractors, programme risks, quality and commercial performance.
• Resolving interfaces with structures, civil, depot equipment and railway systems.
• Building and leading a capable MEP management team.
• Working with senior stakeholders to deliver a facility that is ready for long-term operation.
