Job summary

MCS Group is recruiting an MEP Co-ordinator to own MEP delivery across high-end fit-out projects, mainly in the hotel and hospitality sector in the UK.

You will lead MEP delivery on live projects and tenders, coordinate with clients, consultants and subcontractors, and manage MEP subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in MEP, M&E or Building Services within construction or fit-out.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing practices.
• Experience managing MEP subcontractors and project teams.
• Understanding of MEP design, programming, installation and commissioning.
• High-end fit-out, hospitality or hotel sector experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Good IT skills, especially Microsoft Office.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Able to travel to projects ~3 days per week (Tue–Thu).

Responsibilities

• Lead MEP delivery across live projects and tenders.

• Support procurement of MEP materials and subcontract packages.
• Ensure MEP works meet health, safety and quality standards.
• Manage testing, commissioning and handover.
• Provide progress updates to senior management.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MEP professional to take ownership of MEP delivery across high-end fit-out projects, predominantly within the hotel and hospitality sector.
