Job summary

The Skanska Costain STRABAG Joint Venture is delivering HS2 London Tunnels. This role focuses on the management and commercial delivery of the MEP elements, aligning with project controls and ensuring robust reporting and governance.

You will lead cost and performance reviews, manage change and disputes avoidance, and coordinate with area teams to keep commercial activities aligned with contract requirements and JV culture.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate commercial experience in the construction industry with demonstrable track record of achievement.
• Has a proven track record of managing large commercial teams in complex environments.
• Demonstrable financial and commercial acumen.
• Extensive experience of drafting effective contractual correspondence and facilitating collaborative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Operations commercial manager responsible for the management and commercial delivery of the MEP element of the Works.
• Prepare and support the MEP function in the production of Monthly reporting data and liaising with the Project Control Team.
• Develops and maintains risk avoidance technical approaches.
• Assisting with the management of change including engagement and avoidance of disputes.
• Leading and liaising with area commercial leads ensuring commercial teams are functional.
• Leading the monthly cost and performance reviews for each Enabling Function.
• Development of the MEP Function’s Cost and performance reporting and tracking, and leading resource and subcontract/agency suppliers.
