Job summary

Mech Electrics Limited is seeking an MEP CAD Technician for their Heywood site in Greater Manchester. You will support the production of detailed MEP drawings and models from design information and coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams.

The role focuses on moving towards BIM and LOD 400, with exposure to off-site manufacturing on a purpose-built facility. You will learn how drawings translate to fabrication on the shop floor and develop fabrication-ready information.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD and understand MEP services.
• Exposure to BIM workflows and 3D modelling is a plus.
• Willingness to learn towards LOD 400 and fabrication-level design.

Responsibilities

• Produce and amend detailed MEP CAD drawings.
• Develop coordinated Mechanical and Electrical layouts.
• Work from engineering drawings and design information.
• Support the development of BIM models to higher detail.
