Job summary

Phoenix Recruitment LTD is seeking a BIM Manager to lead the CAD department in our Manchester office. You will support Building Services Engineers, coordinate Revit MEP models, and deliver high-quality mechanical and electrical drawings.

The role requires an ONC/HNC in Building Services with at least 5 years in a consultancy. A competitive salary and benefits package are offered, working within a leading UK multi-disciplinary consultancy.

Qualifications

• ONC/HNC in Building Services is required.
• At least 5 years' experience in a consultancy environment preferred.
• Fully conversant with AutoCAD and Revit MEP.

They are looking for a CAD/BIM Manager experienced in the field of Building Services Engineering to work within the CAD department in their Manchester office, working to support the Building Services Engineers in producing both mechanical & electrical CAD drawings. The candidate should be able to work from engineering sketch scheme designs and to coordinate and produce full layout drawings together with any appropriate sections or elevation drawings as instructed.

The main duties of the role are as follows: -

• Conducting and Managing Building Services Cad department (Candidate dependant).
• Preparation of Mechanical & Electrical CAD drawings.
• Preparation of coordinated Revit MEP CAD model.
• Quality control of output to the engineering team and projects in accordance with the approved QA system.
• Management of immediate/junior staff (Candidate dependant).
• Supervision of junior members of staff (Candidate dependant.

You will need to hold an ONC/HNC in Building Services and be fully conversant with AutoCAD and Revit MEP. Ideally, you will have at least 5 years' experience within a consultancy environment.
