Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced MEP BIM Coordinator to join our Rochester design team. You will produce and coordinate Revit models for building services projects, ensuring accurate, coordinated information is delivered to project standards.

You will work with mechanical and electrical engineers and other design disciplines to develop cohesive BIM solutions and resolve clashes. This permanent role is based in Rochester, Kent, with opportunities to develop your BIM expertise.

Qualifications

• Experience in an MEP/building services design consultancy.
• Strong working knowledge of Revit MEP.
• Experience coordinating mechanical and electrical building services models.
• Understanding of MEP systems and their interaction in a coordinated model.
• Experience identifying and resolving clashes and design coordination issues.

Responsibilities

• Producing and coordinating MEP models using Revit across building services projects.
• Coordinating mechanical and electrical services within multidisciplinary models and identifying clashes.
• Developing coordinated design solutions with engineers and the design team.
• Carrying out model reviews and ensuring BIM information is accurate and compliant with project requirements.
• Producing detailed drawings, layouts, schedules from Revit models.
• Managing model revisions and issuing updated information.
• Liaising with architects, structural engineers, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Supporting BIM standards, processes and workflows.
• Attending design and coordination meetings to resolve technical issues.
