Job summary

NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join the Nutrition and Dietetic Services. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, supporting digital and remote interventions to improve service accessibility and patient engagement. This fixed-term post is 23 months and part-time (28.8 hours).

You will contribute to service development, uphold professional standards, and lead training for colleagues while coordinating care with national and local priorities.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with HCPC registration
• Degree level education or higher
• Postgraduate expertise in a speciality area
• Knowledge of clinical guidelines and HPC standards

Responsibilities

• Communicate and present complex information to patients in an understandable form
• Follow professional conduct standards and maintain CPD portfolio
• Lead training and education initiatives for clinical staff
• Represent the Nutrition and Dietetic Services Manager in operational matters
