City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council is seeking a Mental Health & Wellbeing Advisor (maternity cover) to support clients fleeing domestic abuse in Bradford. The role focuses on trauma-informed, solution-focused care in accommodation services, delivering wellbeing sessions and collaborative pathways of support.

The post is district-wide, 37.5 hours per week, with a salary of £27,554–£28,735 FTE, for 12 months.

Qualificações

• Minimum 1 year experience in mental health services or with clients where mental health is the predominant need.
• Experience assessing needs and creating support packages for clients with multiple/complex needs.

Responsabilidades

• Support individuals in accommodation services with trauma-informed and solution-focused approaches.
• Create and deliver wellbeing sessions to reduce risk of further harm and empower clients.
• Work with clients and specialist services to recognise and meet individual needs, within refuges and dispersed properties.
