This Mental Health Teaching Assistant role offers invaluable experience working alongside experienced teachers, therapists, psychologists, and SEN professionals within a supportive and therapeutic school environment.

As a Mental Health Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored support to pupils throughout the school day, helping them regulate their emotions, build resilience, and develop confidence. You will work closely with students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, implement strategies to support positive behaviour, encourage engagement in learning, and help pupils develop communication, independence, and social skills. The Mental Health Teaching Assistant will also contribute to creating a safe, nurturing classroom environment where every child can thrive academically and emotionally.

This Mental Health Teaching Assistant position is an excellent opportunity for graduates or individuals considering careers in Clinical Psychology, Educational Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).
