Job summary

Northern Healthcare is seeking a Mental Health Support Worker in Bolton to empower adults on their recovery journey. You will work with a supportive team to help individuals develop independence, confidence and meaningful daily routines within their home and community.

Starting pay is £12.91 per hour with enhanced overtime rates and a strong benefits package. Full training is provided from day one and clear career progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

Compassionate, person-centred support for adults with mental health needs.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
Two references covering the previous three years.

Responsibilities

Help people develop everyday living skills.
Assist with meals, cooking, and meal planning.
Manage appointments and medications.
Maintain the home and household tasks.
Support budgeting and money management.
Encourage access to education, employment, volunteering and community activities.
Support independent living and emotional wellbeing.
