Together for Mental Wellbeing is seeking a compassionate support worker to help residents with mental health needs in their homes and the community. You will build trusting relationships, support goal setting and assist with daily living tasks under supervision.

Experience in caring for people with mental health issues is essential; flexible shifts and clear record-keeping in English are required. DBS clearance is expected.

Formación

• Experience in supporting vulnerable individuals from paid work, volunteering or life experience.
• Lived experience of mental distress desirable.
• Basic competence in email and word processing software.
• NVQ Level II in Health and Social Care desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Establish and maintain trusting relationships with service users.
• Help service users set, prioritise and achieve goals, managing their tenancies and move-ons.
• Work flexibly with service users in their homes and in the community.
• Carry out assessments and determine urgency of service user needs.
• Link service users into community opportunities and onward referrals.
• Carry out risk assessments to keep service users safe.
• Attend placement reviews and support 1:1 and group activities.
• Write clear records and reports in English.
