MindWise is recruiting for its housing service at 2 and 3 Abbeyside, supporting people affected by mental ill health. The work centres on providing a safe, stable environment and using the recovery model to improve quality of life and reduce social isolation.

Three permanent posts are open: two at 37.5 hours a week and one at 18.25 hours, with shifts that can include nights and weekends. NISCC registration is needed, or eligibility to register by the start date.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Essential Skills in Maths and English or GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English
• NISCC registration or eligible to register from start
• 3 to 6 months recent paid or voluntary experience in mental health support or similar care setting

What’s required

Experience

• 3 to 6 months recent paid or voluntary experience supporting people with a mental illness, or 6 months' paid or voluntary support experience in another care setting
