Job Description:

Protocol Education is seeking a Mental Health Support Worker to work in Newcastle schools.

Salary: £89.35-105 per day (dependent on experience)

Full-time: Monday-Friday (6.5 hour days), term time only

Location: Newcastle

Are you passionate about supporting young people's mental wellbeing? Join our team of educators working within schools across Newcastle upon Tyne.

If you have a passion for supporting mental health, this is the role for you! You will support students across Newcastle with their mental health.

This is an entry-level role; personal or professional experience supporting someone with mental wellbeing is beneficial, but a passion for supporting student wellbeing is essential.

The role includes:

• Supporting KS 3-4 students with personal and academic development
• Providing one-to-one support for students with SEND or SEMH
• Building positive relationships with students
• Supporting classroom teachers

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
• Passion for supporting student mental health
• Residency in Sunderland or surrounding area
