Are you passionate about supporting individuals with mental health challenges on their journey towards recovery and well-being? We are seeking empathetic and dedicated Support Workers with experience in mental health care to join our compassionate team at Allied & Clinical. We are currently recruiting for our client in Beckton who requires bank staff to support clients with mental health issues.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and assistance to individuals with mental health conditions.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Support clients in developing coping skills, managing symptoms, and achieving their recovery goals.
- Foster a therapeutic and supportive environment conducive to the well-being and safety of clients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mental health professionals, social workers, and case managers, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor client progress and behavior, document observations, and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Provide emotional support, encouragement, and advocacy for clients to enhance their quality of life and independence.
- Participate in training and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills in mental health care.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in mental health for over a year.
- Hold a current advanced CPI or PMVA Certificate.
- Compassionate and non-judgmental approach to supporting individuals with mental health challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues and other professionals.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and work schedules.
- Knowledge of mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and recovery principles is preferred.
- Driving Licence is preferred but not essential.
- Must be a UK resident and have the right to work in the UK. We do not offer sponsorships.
