Job summary

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Wellness Navigator to support adults with mental health challenges through the Berkshire Wellness Hub. The role combines web-based and telephone-based guidance with occasional drop-in support across Berkshire, requiring travel and hybrid working.

You will connect clients to housing, financial and social support, work with CPE leads, and contribute to plans while offering follow-up sessions to aid engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience of working/training in mental health services or studying psychology/health studies.
• Previous experience in health or social care work.
• Experience working/training in or with a diverse or multi-cultural community.
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills, including telephone skills.
• Able to develop good therapeutic relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized signposting plans for clients.
• Coordinate with agencies and housing/financial/social support services.
• Offer follow-up sessions to support engagement with plans.
