Job summary

Onside Advocacy in Redditch is seeking a Community Mental Health Link Worker to provide person-centred, non-clinical support to individuals experiencing severe mental ill health. You will help navigate health and community services and connect people with opportunities that build confidence, independence and wellbeing.

You will work with Mental Health Neighbourhood Teams, manage an caseload, maintain records, and support volunteers.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with severe and enduring mental ill health and helping individuals build confidence and wellbeing.
• Experience providing one-to-one and group support, mentoring or coaching.
• Knowledge of person-centred approaches, mental health conditions, and social challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred one-to-one support and access to group or peer support.
• Help individuals address wider issues affecting wellbeing (housing, debt, diet, activity).
• Act as a link to voluntary and community support and signpost referrals.
