Mental Health Support Worker - Newbury

Are you a Psychology graduate eager to gain practical experience supporting young people with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs?

A Secondary SEN School in Newbury is seeking a dedicated, patient, and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join their team. This role is ideal for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Counsellors, Therapists, Mental Health Professionals, Youth Workers, or Teachers.

As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will:
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students experiencing a range of emotional and mental health needs.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with students and provide consistent emotional and pastoral support.
  • Help students develop confidence, resilience, self-esteem, self-regulation, and independence.
