Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students experiencing a range of emotional and mental health needs.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with students and provide consistent emotional and pastoral support.
  • Help students develop confidence, resilience, self-esteem, self-regulation, and independence.
  • Support students in managing difficult emotions, anxiety, stress, and challenging behaviours using appropriate strategies.
  • Encourage positive coping mechanisms and help students develop healthy ways of managing their emotions.
