Job Description:

As an Adults Mental Health Social Worker, you will play a critical role in improving wellbeing within the local community. You will work in partnership with vulnerable individuals to help them live fulfilling and independent lives.

Responsibilities:

• Using local knowledge and professional experience to make decisions that uphold autonomy while recognizing the social work role for safe intervention.
• Ensuring assessments are accurate and service users can self-direct the assessment process and make informed decisions.
• Collaborating within multi-agency teams to ensure coordinated, person-centered assessments and support that enable independence.
• Providing appropriate support while ensuring value for money for both users and the council.

Requirements:

• Social Work Degree
• Registration with Social Work England
