If you are a qualified Social Worker with experience working with adults facing mental health issues, this could be the role for you. As a Mental Health Social Worker, you will play a critical role in improving overall wellbeing within the local community.

Responsibilities:

* Including but not limited to:

• Using local knowledge and professional experience to make decisions that uphold autonomy while recognizing the social work role for safe intervention
• Ensuring assessments are accurate and service users can self-direct the assessment process and make informed decisions
• Collaborating within multi-agency teams to ensure coordinated, person-centred assessments and support that enable users to maintain independence
• Providing appropriate support levels to users while ensuring value for money for both the user and the council

Requirements:

• Social Work Degree
• Registration with Social Work England
