Mental Health Social Worker

As a Mental Health Social Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing wellbeing within the local community. Your focus will be working collaboratively with vulnerable individuals to support their independence and fulfillment.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize local knowledge and professional judgment to make decisions that respect client autonomy while ensuring safe intervention.
• Conduct accurate assessments allowing service users to participate actively and make informed choices.
• Collaborate within multi-agency teams to deliver coordinated, person-centered assessments and support that promote independence.
• Provide appropriate support levels while ensuring value for money for both users and the council.

Requirements:

• Social Work Degree
• Registration with Social Work England
• Enhanced DBS check (dated within the last 12 months). If enrolled in the update service, you may be fast-tracked.
• Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS if not currently held.
• Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle are advantageous.
