Job summary

Creative Support is seeking an experienced Mental Health Practitioner to manage our Recovery Service in Whalley Range, Manchester. The role leads a team delivering person-centred care for 11 service users with enduring mental health needs and one with a learning disability, focusing on independent living and an active lifestyle.

You will conduct holistic assessments, develop support plans, and maintain accurate records on the ECCO system while ensuring risk management and excellent service user

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of practitioner experience.
• Experience supervising or managing a team is desirable.
• Knowledge of recovery principles, mental health legislation and interventions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care for 11 individuals with enduring mental health needs and one with a learning disability.
• Conduct holistic assessments and create detailed support plans with accurate records on the ECCO system.
• Support the Service Manager in line-management and ensuring service user welfare and risk management.
• Engage with families and mental health professionals to plan and implement therapeutic activities.
