An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Urgent Care Practitioner to join the 136 Team, based at Pendleview.
The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to support the Mental Health Liaison Team at Blackburn Royal Hospital. The candidate should be flexible and willing to support the unit when required.
They should be enthusiastic about developing the existing service and passionate about supporting people in crisis. The candidate should understand mental health law related to detentions under S136 and be capable of providing clinical leadership within the 136 suite and other wards. Skills in partnership working with external organizations are also essential.
The 136 Suite is designed to meet the holistic needs of service users, patients, and carers, in a working environment conducive to staff development and wellbeing. The post holder will support the delivery of the suite/unit by:
Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust offers a range of services, including inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health, and forensic services. The Trust also provides physical health and wellbeing services in the community, working with partners across Lancashire, Cumbria, and Sefton.
