Job description

Length of assignment: 3 Months

Hourly rate: £37

Remote/Office based: Hybrid — all therapeutic appointments will be face-to-face

Location: Walsall Council

The Role:

We are looking to recruit therapists to work within our Family Safeguarding Mental Health Team.

You will be responsible for delivering psychological and/or systemic interventions with parents and carers in Walsall, both on a 1-2-1 basis and within groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with adults with significant and complex needs, focusing on engaging with parents regarding their mental health and well-being, while coordinating with the wider social care system involved with the family.
• Provide clinical services including assessment, formulation, and delivering time-limited, evidence-based interventions within the Family Safeguarding Mental Health Team.
• Identify appropriate mental health/psychological interventions for individuals and develop tailored interventions for parents based on their mental health needs, informed by professional knowledge and practice skills related to therapeutic models such as trauma-informed CBT, DBT, EMDR, functional family therapy, and systemic family therapy.

Experience and qualifications in delivering therapeutic interventions across various specialisms, including trauma-informed CBT, DBT, EMDR, functional family therapy, and systemic family therapy, are required.

Driving is essential for this role.
