Job summary

HMP Wymott in Leyland invites applications for a Senior Mental Health Nurse to join our Mental Health team on a part-time basis. You will provide specialist mental health nursing care within a Category C male prison setting, working across healthcare and prison wings with a multidisciplinary team.

We offer bespoke induction and development opportunities, onsite parking and access to an onsite gym, with a 37.5 hour weekly schedule across a 4-week rolling rota, supporting your professional growth

We have an exciting part time opportunity for a Senior Mental Health Nurse to join our Mental Health team at HMP Wymott, a Category C male prison located in Leyland.

Ideally needs to be a car driver due to location of the prison HMP Wymott has capacity of around 1,100, and has a varied and complex population. You will be working as part of a team of 15 in the mental health team and will be based within the healthcare department and be required to work on the prison wings.

Hours: Monday - Sunday 37.5 hours per week 8am - 6pm 1 weekend in 5 4 week rolling rota

Salary This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary between £43,60- £49,175 per annum depending on experience.
