Job Description:

We have an excellent career opportunity for the role of CAMHS Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team here at Aaban, based at our locations in Accrington, BB5 postcode.

Pay: We offer an excellent pay rate of £33,000 to £43,000 per year (depending on experience).

Contract: Full-time, permanent.

The role: You will assess a variety of acute and complex mental health issues, collaboratively plan and implement treatment. Familiarity with multi-agency working and family involvement is essential.

We're looking for a highly skilled communicator who can relate to young people and involve them in their care, with experience in least-restrictive environments, managing challenging behaviors, and using de-escalation skills. Resilience, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure are important.

This role is rewarding, allowing you to support recovery and discharge back into the community.

Who are we?

Aaban Partnership Ltd offers high-quality specialist mental health services for young people with complex needs, with two CQC-regulated units providing assessment, stabilization, treatment, and intervention for ages 8-18.

Our units include Providence (Assessment and Stabilization) and Moira (Rehabilitation). We use attachment and trauma models, mainly supporting Looked After Children, with a dedicated MDT and on-site education, therapy, and occupational therapy services. We are expanding with new placements and supported living options.

  • Monitoring health and well-being, de-escalation, working with families
  • Adhering to policies and data protection
  • Participating in handovers, community work, and supporting positive behaviors
