Main duties of the job

As a qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you will ensure people with mental illness, including those diagnosed with a personality disorder, receive high-quality care in this Mental Health service. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include providing compassionate nursing care, assessing, planning, and evaluating care, mentoring and supporting team members, and maintaining accurate records of care provided.

You’ll be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team at Barnet Lane Clinic, which is a 30-bed rehabilitation service for people with a mental illness including those diagnosed with a personality disorder.

You will work with individuals who may have had placement breakdowns and need intensive review and support to help them move to more independent living, with a focus on supporting people build a better quality of life for themselves and equip them with the skills needed for community living, supportive relationships, and increased independence.
