Job summary

The Lister Project in Sheffield is seeking a dedicated Key Worker to support adults with mental health recovery and independence. You will assist customers with daily living skills, run activities, and help them pursue personal goals in a caring residential setting.

Join a committed team at SYHA, with extensive benefits, flexible working options and training. This role offers 37 hours per week on a rota, with evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required, in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Have previous experience of supporting vulnerable people.
• Demonstrate an understanding of individual supports needs and how to positively manage risk.
• Be a great communicator both verbally and in writing.
• Have good problem-solving skills.
• Capability to use a wide range of digital software.

Responsibilities

• Support customers to develop skills for independence and personal care.
• Provide activities that help customers achieve their goals, build confidence and enhance social skills.
• Support customers with personal care where needed including administration of medication.
