A school specialising in accommodating children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs is looking for Teaching Assistants to support children with behavioural and mental health issues.
* Working with SEN students aged 8 to 18 to support their wellbeing and personal development.
* Collaborate with therapists and psychologists based on-site at the school.
* Build frontline, practical experience with young people with significant SEMH needs.
* Gain invaluable experience working with Special Needs such as Autism and ADHD.
The right candidate:
* Graduates qualified in Psychology, Counselling or Criminology OR with a strong educational background (GCSEs in Maths and English) and prior experience as a Teaching Assistant for children with mental health issues.
* Enthusiastic and passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with SEMH.
* Resilient and confident to work with challenging behaviour.
