Job description

The Counselling Service at the School of Health and Medical Sciences, City St George's University of London, offers a confidential, high-quality, short-term counselling service to staff and students to support their psychological, emotional, and mental health needs. We are seeking to expand our team with the appointment of a Mental Health Advisor.

Key Attributes of the Successful Applicant Include:

  1. A proven track record as an experienced and currently accredited clinical mental health practitioner, with experience in mental health nursing, social work, or a related field.
  2. Strong skills in assessing clinical risk and providing therapeutic support.
  3. Ability to collaborate effectively with other university services and academic departments.
