Rotherham Doncaster & South Humber NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an MHA Co-ordinator to support the Mental Health Act Administrator in processing MH Act documentation and liaising with MH Act Offices across the Trust. The role requires ensuring lawful detention, maintaining confidential records, and delivering accurate, timely information to colleagues.

Qualifications

• The post holder will assist the Mental Health Act Administrator with processing MH Act documentation.
• They will provide guidance based on Mental Health Legislation to multiple disciplines.

Responsabilités

• Scrutinise detention papers under supervision to ensure lawful detention.
• Process and input MH Act data into the Trust's electronic record (systmOne).
• Notify relevant people in writing about detention under the MH Act; where consent is given, inform nearest relative.
• Assist with collating weekly/monthly/quarterly MHAct statistics.
• Generate Section Expiry / Treatment Expiry Lists from systmOne and the Trust reporting system.
• Oversee arrangements for appeals to the Mental Health Tribunal.
