Job summary

Greater Manchester Mental Health (GMMH) Foundation Trust is hiring a permanent MHA administrator to cover MHA offices across the Trust. The post requires motivation, admin experience, and preferably knowledge of the MHA or a willingness to learn.

The successful candidate will handle MHA documents, perform related tasks, and support the implementation of the Act and DoLS, ensuring statutory duties are met and best practice is fostered across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated with administration experience.
• Knowledge of the MHA or willingness to learn requested.
• Responsible for receiving and scrutinising MHA documents.
• Able to prioritise and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Receive and scrutinise MHA documents and undertake related tasks.
• Provide administrative support for the implementation of the MHA and DoLS.
• Support MHA Hospital Managers to carry out statutory duties.
• Prioritise workload and work to deadlines.
