Job summary

Pertemps Black Country Perms in Wolverhampton is seeking an experienced Internal Sales Executive to manage inbound enquiries, develop a sales pipeline and convert opportunities into new business. You will identify additional revenue streams through events, training, sponsorship and partnerships while achieving targets.

The role is full-time and based at the Wolverhampton site. You will need proven internal sales, telesales or account management experience and strong telephone skills to succeed

Qualifications

• Previous internal sales, telesales, sales or account management experience.
• A proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Excellent telephone and communication skills.
• A confident, proactive and commercially minded approach.
• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
• The ability to build relationships and convert enquiries into sales.
• Experience of selling events, sponsorship, advertising or membership services would be advantageous but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound enquiries and convert leads into new business.
• Conduct telephone-based discovery calls and understand customer requirements.
• Proactively contact prospective and lapsed customers.
• Manage and develop a structured pipeline using the CRM.
• Promote and sell events, training and commercial opportunities.
• Work closely with Marketing to maximise leads and campaigns.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and produce pipeline/KPI reports.
• Prepare quotes and proforma invoices and ensure a smooth customer handover.
