Job summary

Benugo is looking for a welcoming and professional host for the Victoria & Albert Museum Members' Restaurant in London. You will greet guests, manage guest flow, and help ensure a memorable dining experience in a premium environment.

Ideal candidates have prior host/receptionist experience in hospitality, a passion for outstanding service, and strong communication skills. The role requires a warm, engaging personality and excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members and guests with a friendly and professional approach.
• Oversee guest flow throughout service.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist guests with any queries.
• Coordinate closely with the restaurant team to ensure a seamless dining experience.
• Maintain high standards of presentation and hospitality at all times.
• Handle guest feedback and concerns with care and professionalism.
• Support the team during busy periods as required.

As the first point of contact for our members and guests, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring every visit is memorable.

What You'll Do:

• Welcome members and guests with a friendly and professional approach.
• Oversee guest flow throughout service.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist guests with any queries.
• Coordinate closely with the restaurant team to ensure a seamless dining experience.
• Maintain high standards of presentation and hospitality at all times.
• Handle guest feedback and concerns with care and professionalism.
• Support the team during busy periodsas required.

We Offer:

Rate: £12.71 per hour

Contract: Full time/ Permanent

About the Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in a host, receptionist, guest relations, or customer-facing hospitality role.
• Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
• Confident communicator with a warm and engaging personality.
• Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, premium hospitality environment..
• Knowledge of food, wine, and fine dining service is advantageous but not essential.
