Job summary

JD Gyms is seeking a motivated Personal Trainer to enhance member experiences across the Swansea club. You will lead welcoming tours, deliver group workouts, and guide inductions while maintaining high standards and safety.

As a Level 3 Personal Trainer, you will engage with members, support joining, and contribute to community wellness initiatives within the club. This role offers development opportunities and staff discounts within the JD Group.

Qualifications

• Has a passion for fitness, health, wellbeing and helping people.
• Enthusiastic and open to learning; adaptable communication style.
• Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting colleagues, members and local communities.
• Level 3 (EQF Level 4) Personal Trainer qualification is required.

Responsibilities

• Places member experience at the heart of everything you do by engaging with members on the gym floor.
• Deliver welcoming and engaging prospective member tours in the club, in line with JD Gyms brand standards.
• Deliver engaging and inclusive group exercise classes.
• Deliver engaging and informative member inductions.
• Support prospective members with joining JD Gyms as required.
• Conduct club standards checks across the club with accurate record-keeping.
• Provide ad hoc support to members as required.
• Ensure club cleanliness standards are maintained to the highest level as set by management.
• Monitor service delivery through performance and member feedback.
• Work safely and in accordance with policies and relevant legislation.
• Support energy efficiency and waste management practices.
• Analyze and present key data to support new ideas and developments.
