Job summary

Legal & General is seeking a Communications Development Manager to join the Customer Strategy & Engagement team in its Workplace business. You will shape member communications across schemes, using insight and behavioural science to deliver clear experiences that support positive outcomes.

You will design and deliver transactional communications, collaborate with agencies and internal teams, and measure impact to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering customer communications, campaigns or engagement activities.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality content to publication standards.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to use insight and data to drive decision-making.
• Proven project management and organisational skills, with experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience working with creative agencies, suppliers or external partners.
• An understanding of customer engagement strategies and communication best practice.

Responsibilities

• Developing, maintaining and delivering transactional member communications and supporting literature across Workplace schemes.
• Creating customer-centric communications that meet business, regulatory and customer outcome requirements.
• Applying member insight, behavioural science and research to improve communication effectiveness and engagement.
• Managing and enhancing communication journeys across the member lifecycle to improve understanding and outcomes.
• Delivering communications across digital and traditional channels to maximise reach, accessibility and impact.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders, agencies and third-party suppliers to deliver high-quality communication solutions.
• Measuring communication performance, analysing results and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Supporting Consumer Duty requirements by creating communications that are transparent, balanced and easy for customers to understand.
