Job summary

Belcan in Crewe, offering hybrid working, seeks an experienced Project Manager / Project Engineer (MEICA) to drive MEICA projects through final delivery, commissioning and handover within the UK water sector. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage risks and interfaces with clients and suppliers, ensuring technical, contractual and operational requirements are achieved on time and to budget.

The role is initially a 3-6 month assignment with potential for extension, requiring hands-on

Qualifications

Extensive MEICA project delivery experience in UK water/wastewater.
Proven ability to drive projects through testing, commissioning and handover.
Strong stakeholder and client management skills; capable of coordinating multiple teams.
Knowledge of health & safety, CDM regulations and quality management.

Responsibilities

Lead MEICA project activities through testing, commissioning, handover and final close-out.
Provide regular progress updates to the Senior Project Manager, highlighting risks, opportunities and milestones.
Coordinate mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control disciplines for on-time delivery.
Manage subcontractors and suppliers to deliver work safely and to specification.
Capture and communicate lessons learned to support future projects.
