Job summary

Carrington West is seeking four MEICA Project Engineers with a strong electrical engineering background to support delivery of critical water sector projects across the UK. You will coordinate electrical engineering activities, review technical documentation and assist with procurement, installation, testing and commissioning on site, while ensuring health and safety and adherence to project specs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in water, utilities, power, industrial or process engineering.
• Strong understanding of LV power distribution, MCCs, control systems and instrumentation.
• Experience supporting electrical installation, testing and commissioning.
• WIMES standards and client specifications familiarity desirable.
• Full UK Driving Licence; willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage electrical engineering activities across multiple projects.
• Review and produce technical documentation, drawings, specifications and commissioning plans.
• Support design and development of electrical systems, control panels, instrumentation and power distribution.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with procurement activities, technical evaluations and equipment selection.
• Support installation, testing and commissioning on site.
• Monitor project progress and identify technical risks.
• Ensure works meet industry standards, client specs and health & safety requirements.
• Support project handover with as-built documentation and O&M manuals.
